Does your pregnant body need some extra love?
- Maybe you are feeling uncomfortable, whether it’s pelvic discomfort, lower back ache, tight shoulders or niggly joints (and your healthcare providers have ruled out anything requiring medical attention).
- Perhaps as your pregnancy progresses you feel like you’re losing touch with your changing body and you’d like to ‘reset’.
- Maybe you’d love to have time to relax and enjoy your pregnant body.

The best way to stay out of pain is to strengthen what’s weak and release what’s tight. Massage is a brilliant way to release what’s tight AND take time out to look after yourself.
Sore hips, tight upper back, shin splints, lower back ache, carpal tunnel syndrome – all of these can appear in pregnancy. When you come for a massage with me I’ll treat you for what hurts – without hurting you!
Make no mistake, this pregnancy massage is not just a ‘nice rub’, it’s a therapeutic approach for your pregnancy aches and pains.
In the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, massage is safe for most women. To make sure it’s suitable for you, you will complete a pre-massage screening questionnaire. You do this in the comfort of your own home, in your own time – so you don’t need to pay for a longer first appointment. It means that all of our time together is spent therapeutically, not form-filling!
Most mums find the most therapeutic position for massage is side-lying, where I can have good access to your back, shoulders, hips and legs. If you’re not comfortable I have lots of pillows and cushions to support you until you are. Don’t worry if you get uncomfortable mid-massage either, you can move to any comfortable position at any time.
