Holistic Core Restore® Courses designed to help you strengthen and maintain your pelvic floor.

I’ve been helping women of all ages and in all stages of life to feel confident and strong in their pelvic floors since 2013. I offer the Holistic Core Restore® method of pelvic floor and core fitness for everywoman.

The Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman programme is for you if you are:

  • Feeling disconnected from your pelvis or your core
  • Suffering mild or moderate pelvic organ prolapse
  • Experiencing leaks (pee, poo or pimps)
  • Recovering from gynaecological or other abdominal surgery
  • Pregnant or post-natal (whether it’s weeks or months or years since you had your baby)
  • Perimenopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal
  • Experiencing pelvic pain

You’ll begin by completing our pelvic health questionnaire so that I can understand the issues you’re facing and tailor your homework accordingly.

Every woman begins this course by learning how to pay more attention to her pelvis. This is thoughtful and quiet work which is essential to building connection and strength.

Next up we work on learning to release pelvic floor tension. We need pelvic floor muscles to be long as well as strong – just like all the ‘supporting cast’ muscles that attach to your pelvis (think glutes, hamstrings, inner and outer thighs, back, tummy).

Then you’ll learn how to activate your pelvic floor muscles in connection with your breath and your core.

Pretty soon you’ll be integrating pelvic floor muscle activation into full-body movement (think squats, lunges, presses and pulls).

I’ve worked with hundreds of Edinburgh women to help them improve their pelvic health.

This is a group class in a yoga studio environment. Each session features pelvic floor release work, strength-building and full-body movement, as well as a deep pelvic relaxation. In the first six weeks you’ll get homework bespoke to your needs, to help you find out what works best for you. After your first six weeks, each class you attend will have its own weekly homework you can follow along to online.
